As a teen, my mum taught me how to hand-make Pure Laundry Powder using old-fashioned recipes, used before modern chemicals came around. I was amazed by how effective they were, even without the toxic ingredients found in most products today.

On my 21st birthday, I started ALLAVARE to share these safe, natural solutions with more people. Our Pure Laundry Powder is still lovingly handmade by us today, inspired by those same traditions.

What does it smell like?

How do I use Pure Laundry Powder?

Use it like your normal detergent. Just pop 1 tablespoon in the drum or drawer of your machine.

If washing below 40 degrees, dissolve in hot water first.

Gentle enough for hand washing garments.

How do I use Natural Oxygen Bleach?

Dissolve in hot water to use as a pre-soak, stain treatment. Ideal for blood and wine stains.

Add a tablespoon to every white wash to brighten whites.

Dissolve in a jug of hot water before putting down the loo as a chlorine bleach alternative.

Is it safe for babies?

Yes! All of our products are designed to be gentle on delicate skin, especially items that are near sensitive areas like re-usable nappies.
